Please read these terms carefully before using playd.me. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by them.
1.About playd.me
playd.me is a beat analytics platform that lets music producers share audio files with artists, A&R representatives, and other contacts via tracked links, and view engagement data about how those beats are listened to.
playd.me is operated by a business based in the United Kingdom. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
2.Who Can Use playd.me
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By signing up, you confirm that you are 13 or older and that the information you provide during registration is accurate.
If you are accessing playd.me as a recipient (clicking a shared link), these terms apply to your use of the listening experience, even without an account.
3.Producer Accounts
As a producer, you are responsible for:

4.Content You Upload
You retain ownership of any audio files, beat packs, or other content you upload to playd.me. By uploading content, you grant playd.me a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, serve, and transmit that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
You are solely responsible for all content you upload. You must not upload content that:

6.Recipient Data and Producer Responsibilities
When you use the contacts feature to store details about recipients, you are acting as a data controller under UK GDPR for that data. You are responsible for:

7.Beta Service and Availability
playd.me is currently in beta. This means:

8.Paid Plans
A Pro plan is planned (currently £7/month). When paid features launch:

9.Intellectual Property
All playd.me software, design, trademarks, and platform content (excluding content you upload) are owned by playd.me or its licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.
You must not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of any playd.me content without our written permission.
10.Disclaimer of Warranties
playd.me is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, we disclaim all warranties — express or implied — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of security vulnerabilities.
11.Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, playd.me shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue, loss of data, or loss of business opportunity, arising from your use of the service.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other matter that cannot be excluded under UK law.
12.Termination
You can close your account at any time by contacting us at hello@playd.me.
We may suspend or terminate your account if:

13.Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify producers by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of playd.me after that date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
If you disagree with the updated terms, you should stop using the service and close your account.
14.Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
